Here is some basic information about trash, recycling, and bulk item pick-up, as well as Sanitary Landfill regulations.

Trash and Recycling Containers
Please be sure your trash container is placed at curbside, facing in the proper direction. See the container lid for instructions. If the driver leaves a tag on your trash or recycling container, please make the noted changes. If there is a problem with your trash or recycling, the driver may not pick up until your next scheduled collection day.

All American Waste, the Town’s trash hauler, will only empty the authorized, Town- supplied trash container. You may fill the container over the top, as long as the lid can be properly closed. Containers cannot be refilled and dumped again in the same week.

It’s important to understand that bagged, boxed, or loose trash outside of your regulation trash container will not be collected. (This does not apply to leaf collection, recycling, or bulk items.)
