Arrest Made in March 9, 2009 Murder

Bloomfield Police Investigators have charged Rogeau COLLINS DOB 06/11/1987of Hartford and Adrian DEAN DOB 07/14/1986 of Hartford (formerly of Bloomfield) with the March 9, 2009 murder of Bobbie DICKSON DOB 11/16/1981.

On Tuesday March 10, 2009 around 10:30 AM, Bloomfield Police responded to a local park on a report of an unresponsive male.  Arriving Officers located the victim deceased outside his vehicle, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

An ensuing investigation over the next two-weeks turned up numerous leads pointing to Dean and Collins as being involved in the murder.  On 03/24/2009, Bloomfield Police obtained arrest warrants charging both men with:  Murder 53a-54a; Conspiracy to Commit Murder 53a-48/53a-54a; Felony Murder 53a-54c; Robbery in the First Degree 53a-134; and Conspiracy to Commit Robbery in the First Degree 53a-48/53a-134.

Rogeau Collins was located on 03/24/09 at his residence in Hartford and taken into custody without incident.  Rogeau Collins was held at Bloomfield PD on a $1,000,000 bond, and was presented in Hartford Superior Court on 03/25/2009.  Adrian Dean is already in custody on unrelated charges and will be served with the arrest warrant in coming days.  The bond for Dean is also set to be $1,000,000.
