Town of Bloomfield Public Works Department

The Public Works Department maintains public streets, fields, grounds, and playgrounds for all public buildings, parks, and the Board of Education. They also procure and maintain all Town-owned vehicles and equipment.

The Bloomfield Public Works Department has been recognized by The Connecticut Association of Street and Highway Officials (CASHO) for its leadership in integrating operations.

The Public Works Dept has been receiving numerous inquires and service requests with regards to roadside mowing, curb, lawn and driveway repair. At the present time we have completed our spring sweeping program and our focus is now on the installation of the Boundless Playground at the Pool complex. Learn more
