Larry Pleasant

Larry Pleasant has been on the Town Council since 1992, and was recently elected to his eighth term on the Council. Larry has also served as Chair of the Council’s Finance and Administration Committee for eight terms, and is a member of the Human and Leisure Service Committee. He is a former Chair of the Town Council Public Safety Committee, and serves on the Building Committee for Bloomfield High School and the Brown Street Early Learning School. Larry is currently serving his third term as Second Senate District State Central Committeeperson.

Larry received his BA from Trinity College, with a double major in History and Intercultural Studies. He is married, with four children between the ages of 25 to 31.
He continues to be an active Board Member of the Bloomfield Raiders Football, is Past President and Coach of the Bloomfield Little League, and a Former Coach of the Bloomfield Youth Soccer Association.
