Notary Certificates

Upon receipt of his or her commission, a notary must appear before the Town Clerk of the town of residence to file a certificate. Out-of-state residents who work in the Town of Bloomfield may file notary certificates with our office. Applications to become a notary are available in the Town Clerk’s Office.

Fees for Notaries
For original commissions or renewals, the fee is $10.00. Please contact the Town Clerk's office for a schedule of other fees.

Notary Services
Notary services are available in the Town Clerk’s office. Picture identification is required and you must sign in front of the notary. The Town Clerk office does not notarize Wills or Living Wills.
