License and Certificate of Marriage

You may apply for your marriage license in the town where the actual ceremony will take place. Both parties must apply in person at the Town Clerk’s Office

IF THE MARRIAGE IS TO TAKE PLACE IN BLOOMFIELD, MAKE SURE TO BRING PHOTO IDENTIFICATION ALONG WITH YOUR FEE OF $30.00 (CASH, CHECK OR MONEY ORDER). BLOOD WORK IS NO LONGER REQUIRED, AND YOU MAY COME EARLY AS 65 DAYS PRIOR TO THE WEDDING DATE.

You don't need to make an appointment, but please arrive before 4:30 p.m. to apply for your marriage license. It will save time if you download these forms, fill them out, and bring them with you when you visit our office:
