Trade Name Certificate

Anyone doing business in the Town of Bloomfield in a name other than their own must file a Trade Name Certificate with the Town Clerk. Keep in mind that a trade name certificate does not protect your business name. You may use the prescribed form to complete and mail to the Town Clerk, P.O. Box 337, Bloomfield, CT 06002.  The filing fee for a Trade Name is $5.00 with an additional $2.00 fee for a certified copy.
