Town of Bloomfield Recreation Registration

Bloomfield's Recreation Department offers many popular programs, classes, and lessons throughout the year.  Many are for the exclusive enjoyment of Bloomfield residents, but you are still advised to register early!

You can register for Recreation Department offerings in person at the Leisure Services Department Office at 330 Park Avenue during regular office hours. Or, you can mail your registration form with payment to:

Of course, your registration is only complete when you send payment with your form.

When to Register
We recommend that you register as soon as possible because our programs are very popular and space is limited.

• Non-resident adults may register for instructional classes for an additional fee.
• Non-residents may also register for the municipal pool during the summer season at non-resident rates.
• All other programs are for the exclusive enjoyment of Bloomfield residents.

Register Early!
Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis and class sizes are limited. To ensure your registration, it must be received one week before the first class of the program you wish to attend.

Notification
If the class you requested is full, you will be notified and your check returned. Your name will be placed on a waiting list. Classes will be canceled if there is insufficient registration.

Fee Payment:

• Payment is by check or money order.
• Cash is accepted only for walk-in registrations. (Please do not send cash through the mail.)
• Make checks payable to: Bloomfield Leisure Services Department.
• All transactions equaling or more than $75 received June 1st through August 31st must be by cash or money order. (A transaction is all programs and activities being purchased at that time.)

Registration Forms
You can download a registration form to apply for Youth Center Membership and to register for programs. Additional forms are available at the Leisure Services Office, or you can use a plain piece of paper to duplicate the information.

Residency
All Youth Programs are for residents only. Non-residents may attend adult classes for an additional fee.

Refund Policy

• Refunds for programs will be given only if a program is canceled due to lack of registration or a department schedule change.
• Refunds for recreational programs will be given for proven medical reasons. However, refunds must be requested before the first program meeting and must be put in writing.
• Once a program begins, no refunds will be given. Please plan with care before you register for a recreational program.
• Checks returned for insufficient funds will be charged an additional $25.
