The Public Works Department maintains public streets, grounds, fields, and playgrounds for all public buildings, parks, and the Board of Education.  Public Works also procures and maintains all Town-owned vehicles and equipment.

The Bloomfield Public Works Department has been recognized by the Connecticut Association of Street and Highway Officials (CASHO) for its leadership in integrating operations.

 Note:  Public Works does not provide or administer trash and recycling services for the Town.
