
Mark Jacobs
Mark Jacobs has been a Bloomfield resident for the past twenty-five years. He
and his wife Nilda have been married for thirty-five years and have two adult children, Mark Alexander and Desiree.
Mark is the owner of Sir Speedy Printing in Bloomfield for the past nine years servicing local businesses and major corporations with their document needs. In those nine years he has doubled the size of his company. Prior to buying Sir Speedy Printing, he was a Vice President with CIGNA located in Bloomfield responsible for managing a budget of $20 million.
Mark is active in the Bloomfield community. He is currently an elected Bloomfield Town Council member serving on several subcommittees. He has been a member of the Bloomfield Rotary for seven years and is a Past President as well as a Paul Harris Fellow. Mark served on the Wintonbury Hills Golf Course building committee. He is a charter organizing member and President of the Wintonbury Hills Men's Club since its inception in 2004. Mark spearheaded the collection of golf equipment donated to the Bloomfield High School golf team. He is also a former member of the Town of Bloomfield Ethics Committee and a former Bloomfield Midget Football President.
In summary, Mark's experience has proven him to be an accomplished, results-driven professional growing successful businesses by analyzing needs, developing customer relationships, developing and managing resources, and training and mentoring staff. He is experienced in sales and client development, management, advertising, human resources and financial management. Mark possesses excellent presentation and negotiation skills and is a highly effective communicator.
