Hunting & Fishing Licenses

Fishing:
Anyone over the age of 16 is required to obtain a fishing license, available in the Town Clerk's Office.  No license is required for youth under the age of 16, as long as they are accompanied by an adult. Who has a current fishing license.


Hunting:
Hunting license may be obtained if applicants have completed the conservation/firearms safety course or have processed a hunting license within the past 5 years.  Junior license are available after completing the safety course; however, junior licenses must hunt with an adult 18 years or older. Who has a current hunting license.

Lifetime License:
Lifetime license are available at no charge for all Connecticut residents over the age of 65.


Hunting and Firearms:
There are specific regulations about hunting, trapping and carrying firearms in Bloomfield.  Please Contact the Town Clerk's Office for more information.

All licenses must be renewed yearly including Lifetime license.
